Anissa Hudak
Born in New Jersey and raised in New York, Anissa now calls Manhattan, Kansas home. She has been married to her husband, a military man, for 21 years and they have two very active boys and an angel. In 1996, she received a Business Management degree from Orange County Community College and also attended Marist College for Paralegal Studies. Over the past 16 years she has owned and operated several small businesses.
Anissa trained in Tibetan/Usui Reiki by Reiki Master Susan Warner of Overland Park, Kansas and Kundalini Reiki by Reiki Master Alice Langholt of Ohio. Both Susan and Alice are members of the William Lee Rand lineage. Alice is also a member of the Ole Gabrielson lineage.
In 2010, Anissa studied Levels 1 and 2 Tibetan/Usui Reiki and in 2011 studied all levels of Kundalini Reiki. Then in 2012, she studied Advanced Reiki Training (ART) and Master Level of Tibetan/Usui Reiki. In 2013, she “refreshed” her Master level training with Susan and in early 2014, she “refreshed” her Kundalini training with Alice.
Anissa’s approach to care is to treat the “whole” person. After several years of a personal yoga practice, in 2013 Anissa decided to take a teacher training course in Yoga - just for the heck of it! That's when she discovered she LOVED sharing the gift of yoga with others. She started to instruct yoga as a way of assisting her patients to align their body with their mind and spirit. Since then, she has completed her 200 hour RYT and 500 hour RYT. In 2014, Anissa also completed a 120 hours specialty, YogaFit for Warriors, allowing her to work with those who have been diagnosed with PTSD, TBI, depression, bi-polar, anxiety etc. In June of 2017, she completed the MBSR online course and in August she was awarded her Certification in Yoga Therapy from the International Association of Yoga Therapy. She is currently working on course work with the Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy for an additional certification.

She is also studying to be a Perinatal Loss Specialist to help families facing a miscarrage, stillbirth or limited life expectancy of their child(ren). As a bereaved parent herself, she understands the journey these families are now facing and she is committed to helping them with patience, compassion and dignity.

In May 2015, Anissa completed a certification course in AromaTouch Technique and now offers this service to her clients as well.
